All paintings are created from your own clear photographs, although Philippa is happy to photograph locally or you may bring your animal to her home. She prefers to work from one really good photo that really captures the look and character you wish to achieve (agreed beforehand) but always likes to have a number of others to help and take different elements from if required – a pricked ear, a better shade of coat, a different broadband, bridle, collar, leg stance, shine….artistic licence can be achieved with suggestions by those ordering. She has many times been asked to slim a riders leg!
Oil on canvas prices start from £500 plus framing, please email pippa@icloud.com to be sent a quote for something unusual or non standard sizes not listed here.
Once completed, paintings can be collected from the Artist’s studio in North Yorkshire or sent out next day delivery, insured at cost.
Please remember – you only pay for your painting if absolutely delighted with the finished likeness.
